Are there any pattern pieces in Dolls United?
YES! Doll patterns with pattern pieces are included in most issues, set up so the pattern pieces can easily be printed for use.

Will Dolls United work on a Mac?
Yes, the Dolls United CD ROM works on Apple Computers.

Are there still copies of the _____ Issue left?
Yes! You can still order all issues on backorder.

Why can we only see the backs of many people at doll conferences?
It's a policy of Dolls United to not interrupt the doll making classes going on. It isn't fair for us to walk in on the teacher and change to pace of his/her class. This is why the photos are of works in progress, demonstrations, etc.

Why are the pictures at the doll conferences so dark?
For the same reason as above--bringing in lighting equipment would be a disruption to the class and it is not part of our policy to interrupt the doll making classes.

Why are the pictures blurry at 500%?
Images are saved in a rastor format. Rastor means "using pixels". Each pixel is a little square of color that makes the image. Because of this format, is impossible to zoom in really close or enlarge an image without making it pixelated (seeing the individual pixels). This is common on almost every image. The resolution on each camera is different, but Dolls United tries to use the highest quality images and doll photos.

Why can't I use Acrobat 3.0 to view Dolls United?
If you open your Dolls United CD ROM in Acrobat 3.0, only the text will appear. The photos will not come up on your screen.
Dolls United was designed for use with Acrobat Reader 4.0 or higher. Due to advances in the software, that was not available in version 3.0. You can download the newest version here for free!
