In the wee hours of the morning, deep in the forest of Moonmothia you will find the Elven King on his flying horse searching for winged creatures in need of healing.
To believe in the efforts of the Elven King his marvelous hands must be believable. They must be masculine and yet not too muscular. His fingers are long and slender. Creating small, wonderful hands is possible. It takes patience, practice and a wee bit of knowledge. My goal is to share what I know about creating believable masculine hands.
These techniques work with most any hand pattern. If you are inexperienced you may choose to enlarge the hand slightly until you get the feel for it. Once you have the skills worked out on a large-scale try a smaller hand with smaller tools and continue to reduce the pattern until you have the size you are working towards. If you desire to design your own doll and want to have your own hand pattern, photocopy a real hand shaped like the hand you’d like the doll to have.
