Dolls United will not focus on the seasons as most craft magazines do, but will revolve around a central theme for each issue. Here is a list of the upcoming themes and the deadlines for submissions. We have included some basic theme motivators, but each theme is open to personal interpretation.

The Finale - #18
submission deadline is May 15, 2007
After many years of publishing Dolls United, it has been decided that it is time to come to an end. Many considerations have been put into this decision. Before we are done publishing this unique magazine we would like to give everyone who has submitted one last chance to be on the pages of Dolls United...that means this Finale Issue will be full of all kinds of dolls, themes, techniques, patterns and interviews. We are still taking submissions for this Finale Issue, send in your submission today!

Cover Doll Submissions:
Send cover doll submissions to editor@dollsunited.com one month prior to deadline for review. Any project to be considered for the cover doll photo must be available for formal photographing, though good quality digital photographs may be accepted for the cover. If you are unsure, send the doll photos to editor@dollsunited.com and we'll let you know if we can use them. The cover doll photo must have a resolution of at least 150dpi. Cover doll photos are chosen by a rotating panel of professionals and must fit one of the magazine themes.

Dolls United would like to include advanced doll making techniques in each issue. Submissions do not have to be in project form. Step by step photos are welcome in technique and project submissions. You may submit individual techniques or doll making patterns. Business articles are always welcome and do not have to fit into any theme.

Any designer, who contributes a technique or article, if accepted, will receive a free CD ROM advertisement in the Marketplace section of the magazine.
